To celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen, and as a memorial to Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, Citizen and Barber, on 7th June 2002, the Master and the Mistress Barber planted two trees behind the hall.

The Reception, which had been planed for the garden, was held in the Hall to the music of a brass quintet from the Guildhall School of Music
